Encouraging Golf Safety
This foundation was created following a tragedy with golf equipment. It is the intention of this foundation to encourage all to practice safety on and around the golf course through common sense safety measures and proper golf etiquette.
What Drives Us
Our History
The Bo Cipra Foundation was created by his loved ones to honor the life he lived. Bo was abruptly taken from us in a tragic accident in April of 2022 while on a trip to play the game he loved. The accident that claimed his life was caused by the misuse of a golf cart and this foundation intends to educate the public on ways to prevent such an accident. This foundation was formed in order to honor his life, promote safety on and around the golf course, and to assist the families of others who find themselves in a similar position.

The Bo Cipra Foundation honors Bo Cipra’s life by providing financial and emotional support to petroleum industry families who have lost their primary provider. It also reflects his passion for golf by promoting safety on the course and supports Texas-based charities close to his heart.
